"Citizens across the United States are now uniting in a great cause to establish a Department of Peace, seeking nothing less than the transformation of our society, to make non-violence an organizing principle, to make war archaic through creating a paradigm shift in our culture for human development, for economic and political justice and for violence control. ~ Dennis Kucinich

The Peace Alliance is spearheading a grassroots campaign in support of a Cabinet level Department of Peace. They suggest that you urge your Congressional Representative to support the Congressional Bill for a Department of Peace introduced by Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

The national campaign has grown into a global effort, with Ministries of Peace successfully established in several countries. Find out more about the Department of Peace Campaign. Help make peace in our communities and between nations a priority for our governments and their citizens by promoting the idea of a Department of Peace.
